The shop Mottababy was born in 1964 from an idea of Silvana Ranzani and Gianantonio Motta.
In the beginning the shop located in Viale Montenero in Milan, was specialized in baby's clotes and toys. Very soon the shop became well knovn from everybody in Milan, as it had many goods and the staff was very kind and professional. As time goes by more and more people get in touch with Mottababy so the Motta's needed to find a bigger place to build their new shop. As a result of this choice they decided to do some changes and their attention went to the baby's clothes world.

In 1980 Babymotta was born. This new bigger shop in Largo Settimio Severo in the very middle of the well known Corso Vercelli became soon a landmark for mother, father and everyone who had the need or the curiosity to get in touch with the wonderful children's world. Here Mrs Silvana with her daughter Deborah and mervellos staff fulfil the wishes of the custumers with elegance, ability and grace, which have made the shop famous for over thirty years.
